BRAND OVERVIEW
Working alongside Moniker and M35, we helped shape an expressive identity for Meta Horizon, developing a motion language that brought the wider visual system to life.
Built around the idea of Beyond, the identity explores the space between physical and digital worlds. Duality, depth and dimensionality became central to the motion language, using shifting perspectives, multiple planes and spatial movement to create a system that feels native to the world Horizon was built for.
Rather than applying motion to a static identity, we developed behaviours that helped define how the brand could move, creating a flexible motion language with the freedom to shift between simple, everyday applications and more expressive moments.
PRINCIPLES:
01 LINEAR
02 ZOOM
03 EXPAND
04 SCALE
05 LAYER
06 SHIFT
TYPOGRAPHY
Typography became an active part of the motion system, moving through depth, perspective and scale to create a stronger sense of space.
Guided by the motion principles, type could shift between foreground and background, move across dimensional planes and respond to the world around it.
IMAGERY
The same principles extended to imagery, transforming static compositions into layered, spatial experiences.
Images could shift in perspective, move through depth and interact with other elements, creating a more immersive expression of the Meta Horizon world.
LAYOUTS
Bringing the system together, layouts explored how typography, imagery and graphic elements could coexist within a shared dimensional space.
Rather than relying on fixed compositions, elements could move between planes, transition through depth and adapt across different formats while retaining a consistent spatial logic.
BRAND IN MOTION:
ADAPTIVE GRADIENT
Colour was designed to move with the system. The adaptive gradient created a fluid, evolving backdrop that could shift in tone and composition while remaining distinctly Meta.
In motion, the gradient became more than a static graphic element, continuously adapting to complement typography, imagery and the wider expression of the brand.
BRAND APPLICATIONS
Bringing the system together, we explored how the motion language could extend across real-world brand applications.
From digital platforms and social content to larger campaign moments, the principles, typography, imagery and adaptive gradient could work together as one flexible and recognisable expression of Meta Horizon.
